PUSH511 Ambassador - Kristol Das

A PUSH511 Ambassador embodies the PUSH511 Core Values: Help First, Positivity, Health.  Now sure how she does it but Kristol has a permanent smile on her face and always brightens your day.  She started coming to PUSH in 2021 to visit her partner Ian and then in 2023 we were so lucky to have her join fully when she moved to Baltimore and be part of our initial Ambassador progam. Based on Kristol's work schedule you will see her at Noon classes as well as afternoon and evening.

Fun Facts

What is your favorite thing to do in Baltimore?

  • I love all of Baltimore’s quirky charm. These days, my favorite thing to do is to take a walk through the neighborhood over to Patterson Park (especially if I make it over to the ducks!) or along the harbor.

Where are you originally from?

  • I spent most of my childhood in Doylestown PA, but have lived along the east coast and in the Midwest!

Do you have a pet?

  • I have a rescue pup named Mollie, sweet, lover of the outdoors! Timid around new people and loud noises so hasn’t mustered up the courage to workout at PUSH511 with me as of yet- but hoping she will one day.

What do you do for work?

  • ER pediatrician. I work odd hours/changing shifts so you might see me at an assortment of class times. While the sleep deprivation is not fun, I love seeing kids at all hours of the day.

What do you like to do for fun?

  • Related to the last question, Sleep!! But once well rested,  love spending time outdoors with the dog, catching up on the latest New Yorker and playing ultimate frisbee.

How long have you been a member of PUSH511?

  • I officially joined when I moved to Baltimore in July 2023.

If a workout was named after you, what movements would it include and how long is the workout?

  • Bike, heavy(for me) squat cleans, push ups for about 15-20 minutes and interval style to keep me honest. but really would be up for anything… I love the variety! These three movements came to mind first because I have dreaded all of them, but I think I’m learning how to move better through them so they are a fun challenge when they pop up in workouts.

What is one thing you’ve achieved by becoming a member?

  • My goals on the whiteboard are still works in progress, but being a member and coming to classes regularly has helped me establish consistency and routine despite changing work and sleep times week to week. I think this helps me figure out how to keep my body feeling healthy no matter what other stressors it faces.
